This is my first blog post , the Merry Monk refers to my two cats, Merry and Mo, these cats will feature from time to time as will my allotment box and my plant and vegetable and fruit growing on our large balcony.

Living in the end of days
I read today that by 2025 the City I live in will be in trouble for drinking water. We are buying white wooden blinds for the outside of our windows this year, to keep the heat down.
Our government is the worst I've know in my lifetime, a bunch of liars and grifters, asset stripping the nation's wealth. We have the chance to vote them out but the obvious alternative seems hell bent on alienating it's voters.
Living during Climate Crisis and looking at madness around the globe its easy to ask, is it me. However it isn't me , things really are heading towards a point of no return.
